RLI Personal Umbrella Policy
The RLI Personal Umbrella Policy (PUP) is an unsupported umbrella policy written in the standard market. It does not require that underlying policies be underwritten by RLI.
The RLI PUP will cover operation of most motor vehicles and small watercraft, incidents involving any property covered by the basic homeowners policy, and incidents alleging slander, libel, defamation of character, invasions of privacy, and false arrest.
How to Quote
- Complete the quote process through the RLI Portal. (Producer PUP Access)
- Select eSignature and pay online with credit card.
If insured uses the eSignature option, you do not need to do anything else. We will receive a notice, bind the policy, and email the documents to you.
OR
- If client is not able to e-sign/prefers paying by check:
a. Enter all information into the portal & print application
b. Have the client sign the application
c. Complete the producer section (please add your printed name & email)
d. Mail the application with premium check (payable to PRIM) to 8354 Northfield Blvd, Suite 2710, Denver, CO 80238
**Must be received within 13 days of requested effective date on signed application; if not, closest possible effective date will be selected.
