Who We Are
The IIAMT represents over one hundred independent insurance agencies and branches. Our members are small businesses that employ nearly one thousand Montanans in communities throughout the state.
As independent agents, our members provide Montana consumers with choice, customization and advocacy in both their personal and commercial insurance coverage. On the national level, IIAMT is affiliated with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, Inc. (IIABA)
PRIM
Public Risk Insurance Management, Inc. (PRIM) is a for-profit corporation formed by the Independent Insurance Agents’ Association of Montana to conduct the business of the wholesale and retail sales of products and sale of services. PRIM provides management services for the Independent Insurance Agents’ Association of Montana and the Montana Insurance Education Foundation. IIAM owns 100% of the outstanding stock of PRIM.
